Barnard College
(New York City) is saddened by the tragic circumstances
in the Gulf region. We invite students who were enrolled
in a college or university in the affected areas and are
now displaced to contact us for information about enrollment
options at Barnard for the fall semester. We will be offering
courses on a space available basis to sophomores, juniors
and seniors and will waive tuition for students who have
already paid their home institution.
Campus housing is already full, however, and will not
be available. The expectation is that this emergency visiting
student program will serve students within commuting distance
of the College. At the end of the fall semester, Barnard
will provide students in the program with transcripts
for the courses they complete.
