The following multimedia pieces each include photographs and audio recordings of scholars' opinions about major topics discussed at the conference, "The bloody Writing is for ever torn." Click on the images to view each of the presentations.

The next two multimedia pieces include a variety of responses to
the question, "What were the consequences of the British abolition
of the slave trade in 1807?" Many of the
scholars answered this question in relation to their own fields of
study.
