The Middle Passage Initiative gives students opportunities to engage in dialogue across the Atlantic about the history of the Middle Passage and the literary response to that history. With support from the Gilder and Ford Foundations, students explore the complexities of the Middle Passage in order to heal the “rupture in the conversations between Europeans and Africans." |
