Full-time Barnard Faculty and staff have accounts on Artemis, a server designed for file sharing within the College. Files stored on Artemis are available:
on campus, with computers which have the appropriate program installed: Novell Client 4.91 SP3 for Windows or ProSoft for older Macintosh computers.
via the web using NetStorage
How much space do I have on Artemis?
User accounts have 300MB of storage capacity. Departmental shared folders are 2GB in size.

Artemis / Diana folders seen by most users
In limited cases, groups of faculty and staff may require special folders for projects or programs. This can permit users in different departments to share files. Use this template to request a special folder/
How to find these folders after they have been created:
Navigate to the folder
Click on My Network Places
Click on Data on Artemis
You will see your special folders
Map the drive
Click on START in lower left of screen, select RUN, type in \\artemis and click on OK
You will see a new window. Double click on DATA
You will see a new window with list of your folders on Artemis.
Highlight your new special folder. Right Click. Select NOVELL MAP NETWORK DRIVE
In the dialog box:
for the first line, select a Drive Letter that is not in use (starting with I).
Your folder name will already appear in the second line.
Leave the third line <username> blank.
Put check marks in the first two boxes:
Check to make folder appear as the top most level
Check to always map this drive letter when you start Windows
Do not check the third box: Map Search Drive
