Academic Technologies will install this standard Barnard Software Package on your office computer.

Barnard is a Microsoft Campus. This site license provides Microsoft Office for all Faculty, Staff and lab computers.
Symantec Anti Virus is available to Barnard Faculty, Staff, Students and Computer labs. You can download your copy or call the Help Desk for assistance. Be sure to uninstall other anti-virus programs before installing Norton.
PC PhoneHome is software that can help recover a lost or stolen laptop. Barnard College, in partnership with Columbia University, has purchased a site license for PC PhoneHome from Brigadoon Security Group.
Special pricing available for Adobe products Several departments have purchased Creative Suite which includes Adobe Writer and PhotoShop at a substantial discount. We do not have a site license for: PhotoShop or Adobe Writer.
Mathematica is available to Barnard Faculty, Staff, and Computer labs. Call the Help Desk to request this.
NERCOMP licensing special pricing is available through the NERCOMP consortium for various products.
There is a new license for SPSS for Barnard Computer labs, Faculty and Staff. This program is available for Windows computers and selected Macintosh computers. We do not have a license for SPSS for students. Please call the Help Desk for a consultation if you need this package.
EndNote bibliographic software is available free of charge to all current students, faculty and staff of Columbia University. The program is available for downloading from the AcIS software server.

Academic Technologies is available to consult with you about software needed for your scholarly or administrative work.
When a user receives a new computer, we will set it up with the standard software. If the user needs other programs installed, the user must supply the installation disks and codes. We can not move programs from an old computer to the new computer. Please keep in mind that older programs may not run on newer operating systems. The user is responsible for obtaining the current version of the extra software program.
