Description
CHF serves more than 3,400 HIV positive children, teens and their families through one or more of our six programs. Working in partnership with more than 100 clinics, hospitals, social service agencies and community based organizations we deliver programs and services free of charge, that improve the quality of daily life for children, teens and their families. The Childcare Necessities Program, The Medical Equipment Program, The Emergency Funds Program, The Pain Management Program, The Education and Outreach Program, and the Family and Volunteer Outings Program are all designed to fill gaps in services for HIV positive children and teens. These gaps are still identified annually by physicians, nurses, social workers and caregivers, and our programs are adjusted and changed, each year, to ensure that we are reaching as many needy children with HIV and AIDS as possible, in the most practical, effective and efficient way we can.
