Description
CODEPINK Women for Peace is a women-initiated grassroots peace &
social justice movement that was founded as a peace vigil outside the White
House in the lead-up to the Iraq War and now has over 100 local chapters
nationwide. CODEPINK is known for its use of non-violent direct action and
street theater to bring its anti-war message onto the streets, into the
halls of Congress, and to the mainstream media.
