Description
SLAM! is a student group founded in 1996 that has mainly
organized against budget cuts and for open admissions at CUNY. But SLAM!
is not a single-issue group - we have also organized around welfare, police
brutality, housing, political prisoners, imperialism, and just about any other
injustice you can name. We want to be part of rebuilding a student movement
that is independent, democratic, well organized, campus-based, and radical.
