This two-day conference brings together leading scholars from Russia, Israel, Germany, and the U.S. to explore a wealth of topics related to Russian migration of the past and present.

“Reacting to the Past” consists of elaborate games, set in the past, in which students are assigned roles informed by classic texts. Pioneered at Barnard, a group of 40 colleges and universities across the nation have developed the RTTP pedagogy.

Scholars of translation studies discuss current teaching methods, as well as the place and function of translation in the university curriculum.

On March 16, Barnard College and President Debora Spar hosted the fourth annual Barnard College Global Symposium in Mumbai, showcasing the incredible work being done by some of the most prominent women throughout India.
