New York

Tonight's event has been canceled.

As Barnard prepares to celebrate its 125th Anniversary, the College and its rich history will be featured in a WNET Treasures of New York documentary hosted by alumna and award-winning actress Cynthia Nixon '88.

Join a panel of scholars as they explore the issues of transparency and accountability in the management of public good in New York City. For the Public Good is a multi-year, interdisciplinary project bringing together scholars and activists from a range of disciplines to generate a thoughtful critique of the “public good.”

First-year students Toby Milstein and Malvina Kefalas talk about their behind-the-scenes tour as part of Barnard's Emerging Leaders Program.
