Cindy
Lee

Cindy Lee's presentation titled The Art of Flame and
Color: Glass from Around the World is a tribute to
her travels throughout Western and Eastern Europe
last winter, during which she visited many of the
famous glass and crystal working centers in Europe:
Murano, Eastern Bavaria, and Prague. To celebrate
the diversity of glass and crystal work, Cindy's
project will consist of four facets: stained glass,
hand painted glass, lampwork beads, and assorted
decorative glass. As one part, she will display
small examples of stained glass work along with a
world map containing philatelic representations of
stained glass worldwide. To better understand glass
working, Cindy intends to display example of her own
efforts at creating painted glass and lampwork
beads. Lastly, the presentation will also contain
significant examples of assorted examples of
glasswork, from around the world.
