COMMENCEMENT DATES, TIMES, LOCATIONS OF EVENTS:

The Barnard ceremony (the Presentation of Degree Candidates) will take place on the Columbia campus on Tuesday, May 20 at 10:00am.

The University exercises (the conferring of degrees) will take place on Wednesday, May 21 at 10:30am on the Columbia campus.

The Baccalaureate Service will be held on Sunday, May 18 at 10:30am, St.
Paul's Chapel at Columbia.
Tickets:
- Each graduate will receive four tickets for the Columbia ceremony. Tickets are not required for the Barnard ceremony or the Baccalaureate Service, but guests should plan to arrive at least one half hour early.
On
the day of the Barnard ceremony:
- Guest seating sections on the Columbia campus will be open at 8:30am.;
guests should plan to be in their seats by 9:30. The ceremony will conclude
at approximately 12:00 noon.
- Student marshals will direct guests to appropriate seating areas, and they will in general be happy to answer questions and explain various procedures.
- Immediately after the ceremony, all guests are cordially invited to attend one of the several receptions that will be held at locations around the Barnard campus. An insert in the program will direct guests to the appropriate sites.
