BARNARD Communications

The Communications group is comprised of 5 departments:

Barnard Magazine

Barnard Magazine, the quarterly publication of Barnard College, presents news and features about academic programs, institutional initiatives, alumnae accomplishments, and college events to alumnae and the world at large as well as to current students faculty and administrators.

Design, Print and Production

The Design, Print and Production Department is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, producing, and aiding in the distribution of Barnard’s printed communications.

Electronic Communications

Electronic Communications manages the design and function of the Barnard website, the Alumnae Network website, the College's official social networking outlets, broadcast email communications, and Audio/Visual production for the web.

Media Relations

Barnard’s Media Relations team works to raise the profile of the College by identifying and promoting newsworthy people, events and news on campus.

Special Events

Special Events provides a full range of event support services including Space Reservations and Audiovisual Services. Our goal is to provide quality event support for students, faculty, and administrators.
