Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College will close at 4pm today, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. Your Reunion Gift
Reunion giving is an important part of the Reunion tradition.
As you reflect on your experience as a student during your Reunion year, we hope you will choose to support the College today with a meaningful gift. Your support not only strengthens your relationship with Barnard but also helps ensure that current and future students receive the same high-quality education you did.
Reunion gifts of all sizes are welcome and alumnae are encouraged to participate at a level that is comfortable for them. For many donors, their Reunion gift is above and beyond what they might typically give. Some alumnae may choose to commemorate their quinquennial reunion with a more significant single year gift; a multi-year pledge to be paid over five years; or a special restricted gift that matches their interest with Barnard’s needs.
What Counts as a Reunion Gift?
All gifts and pledge payments made to Barnard for any purpose (restricted or unrestricted) since July 1st following your last reunion will be counted in your class’s current Reunion Gift total. This includes new commitments made during the current reunion year. All corporate matches and irrevocable planned gifts made during this time period are also counted.
