Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. The Barnard Fund Society: Leadership Annual Giving to Barnard College
Make a gift every year; support a student every day.
The Barnard Fund Society recognizes and thanks leadership annual donors whose generous gifts provide an unbroken foundation for the Barnard academic experience. Membership is based on unrestricted gifts to The Barnard Fund that come in during a given fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
Levels of Giving
- Platinum: $50,000 +
- Gold: $25,000 - $49,999
- Silver: $10,000 - $24,999
- Bronze: $5,000 - $9,999
- The 1889 Society: $1,889 - $4,999
Young Alumnae who have graduated in the last ten years and who make annual gifts of $100 multiplied by the number of years since their graduation will also qualify for the 1889 Society. The 1889 Society acknowledges the founding of Barnard College in 1889.
The Barnard Fund Scholars Program: By making a gift of $10,000 or more to The Barnard Fund, a donor can fund a one-year scholarship for an individual student. The Barnard Fund Scholars Program makes every effort to connect students with the donors who support their education.
Consistent Barnard Fund Donors
Barnard Fund donors are the lifeblood of the institution, which is why consistent giving is also recognized and applauded, as it underscores a reverence for the past and commitment to the future of the College.
