THE DIANA PROJECT
IN PROGRESS
Welcome
These pages are dedicated to one of the most ambitious and exciting projects to take place on the Barnard campus. This Web site will chart the evolution of the Diana, the planned 70,000 square-foot mixed-use building currently underway.
The building will serve as both a center of student life and activity and a home to several of the College’s noted programs, including art, architecture, and performance. Designed by the architecture firm of Weiss/Manfredi, the Diana is supremely functional and aesthetically pleasing, and it has already won an award. The Diana will be built on the site of the McIntosh Center, where a space will be dedicated to honor the legacy of President Millicent McIntosh.
