Getting Around Campus

Campus Re-routing

The construction wall is shrinking.

The path between the north and south ends of campus has re-opened.

The gate at 119th and Broadway remains closed.

Students, faculty and staff may access Milbank Hall on 120th Street via swipe card.

Accessibility

During demolition and construction, we are working to continue to provide wheelchair accessibility throughout the Barnard campus. Special attention is being given to the campus’s north end, the location of the Diana. Signage showing accessible routes will be posted as necessary.

Accessibility information is also included within the regular updates posted on the Construction Logistics page on the Diana website.

The Diana has been designed to be in compliance with all locally mandated code requirements and with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Both Facilities Services Director Julio Vazquez and Disability Services Director Susan Quinby meet on a regular basis to discuss Diana/access issues and concerns.
