A Step-By-Step Guide to the Seed Germination Database Project
This page will take you through the steps to generate a Seed Germination class database.

First, open your web browser and navigate to the following URL:
http://160.39.101.211/embryo/index.html.
If you cannot access this page, then the application is not running at this time. If you need access, please contact your instructor to start the application.

Enter a username, designated by your TA or Professor, and click on Submit Query.

You will be brought to a page on which you will enter the data for your embryos. Be sure to type your Group ID at the top. Fill out all the tables with your data, and click Submit Query when you are done. You may also Reset the tables if you have entered the data incorrectly.

In order to conserve space, the image below only shows one table, but in actuality there are more tables on the page to be filled out fully.

On the next page, the tables and data will be displayed in full. Be sure to verify that your data is correct before clicking on Submit Query, which will load your data into the class database. If any of the data is incorrect, click on the Back button of your browser to correct it.

The next page shows the means for the class data. Click on Export this data to a spreadsheet to see the results in spreadsheet form.

Your browser may prompt you to decide whether to Open the spreadsheet in your browser or Save it to your harddrive. Choose the appropriate action.
