Writing Courses
Registration
in each course is limited and permission of the instructor
required; for courses 3105-3118 and 3120, submit a writing sample in
advance. See Registration

Class lists of
those accepted into the creative
writing classes are posted in the
department and online at the beginning
of each
semester. A
student is not permitted to take two writing courses concurrently.

Every February, submissions are
accepted for Barnard's Annual Writing Prizes. They
are open to all undergraduates and include poetry and prose (both
fiction and non-fiction). For further information, click
