Accenture believes that attracting, retaining and promoting women is critical to the success of our company. That's why we're hosting the Accenture Women's Networking Forum, a social media webcast for top female students in the United States and Canada.
In today’s competitive environment, students need a way to differentiate themselves from their peers. They need an “X” factor that makes them standout in a crowded job market. They need a personal brand. Through the event theme of "Building Your Personal Brand," we will focus on how to best present and market ourselves to make connections, seize opportunities and achieve goals at school, work, home and in the community.
On Friday, April 15, selected women will attend a 90-minute social media webcast and:
• Learn about personal branding; what it is, why it is important and how to develop
• Obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to present yourself as a personal brand
• Gain a clear understanding of how to use the power of your personal brand
• Understand how everything you do contributes to your personal brand: when you type an email you are branding yourself, how you dress, what you eat and how you talk all contribute to your brand
You'll also learn how more than 60,000 women contribute to an environment that’s rich in diversity at Accenture.
Here are a few comments from past attendees:
"This event really gave me a head start on planning for after college. I learned many things about what I can be doing now that will give me a better chance in the job market."
"It was interesting to hear personal challenges women face at work and how they deal with them."
"The networking forum was great! I walked away with tips and ideas I can use as a student as well as a professional."
Application process
If you are interested in attending, please visit our application page and complete your application by April 4. Selected participants will receive an email with webcast login information a week prior to the event.
