Weather Update

Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.  

Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information. 

The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9.  The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.  

Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed.  The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open.  For further updates on college operations, please check this website, call the College Emergency Information Line 212-854-1002 or check AM radio station 1010WINS.

Come to a talk with Bank of America for Net Impact's annual meeting on this Thursday at 7pm in Lerner Party Space and learn more about the club and our mission, projects, internship opportunities and much more!

We are featuring  ★Ms. Bina Kalola★, Managing Director of Global Equities at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as our keynote speaker. Ms Bina graduated from Columbia University in 1991 and has a successful career in both the finance and legal world. Ms Bina will share her experience at Bank of America and how to develop leadership skills during career path. At the end of the Event, the floor will be open to questions and finally we will have time for everyone to mingle, network and just have a good time.

A slice of mouth-watering pizza and a cooling drink will be a perfect way to end a busy week (if NO Friday classes).
