The Barnard Project at New York Live Arts

Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and Dance Theater Workshop have recently merged to become New York Live Arts - an exciting new development for both organizations. Now it in its seventh season, The Barnard Project continues to connect students to the professional world by commissioning premieres from four cutting-edge choreographers. This year's artists include the "fabulously enigmatic" Ivy Baldwin; Sidra Bell, who "has her finger on the pulse of new American dance"; David Parker, "a master of choreographic repartee"; and Susan Rethorst, whose work has been hailed as "brave, beautiful, [and] vulnerable."
