Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. At Credit Suisse we strive for excellence. We understand that excellence can only be achieved by hiring and promoting a dynamic, intelligent, diverse pool of talent. It is this passion for excellence that has led us to develop an IT Women's Mentor Program at our offices in New York City. This program offers young women the unique opportunity to learn about technology, the financial services industry, get to know women from other universities, and network with Credit Suisse professionals while being mentored by a member of our IT Women’s Council.
Program Overview:
The program will begin in September 2012 and will consist of 4 events held in the office and on-going mentor sessions. Each participant will be paired with a female mentor from the IT Women’s Council. Events will include orientation, career development workshops, networking opportunities, and philanthropic activities. Credit Suisse will cover the cost of transportation for events.
-3 half day on-site events, one in September, October, November
-Opportunity to interview early for the 2013 Information Technology Summer Intern Program
Important Guidelines:
•All students must be enrolled in a 4-year university/college - graduating Spring, 2014
•Participants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above; open to all majors
•Interviews will be held at Credit Suisse the last week in April 2012
