Barnard proudly hosts a 13-day exhibition of new art by the Dominican York Proyecto Gráfica. Including works by Carlos Almonte, Pepe Coronado, René de los Santos, iliana emilia garcía, Reynaldo García Pantaleón, Scherezade García, Alex Guerrero, Luanda Lozano, Miguel Luciano, Yunior Chiqui Mendoza (“Bananhattan,” below), Moses Ros-Suárez, Rider Ureña, this printmaking collective of artists of Dominican descent provides rare and colorful insight into the Dominican experience in New York and around the world. On March 22, a reception will immediately follow the panel in the fourth floor gallery of The Diana Center. The exhibition runs through April 3.
