Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. The exam schedule will be posted in April. Beginning in January and until the schedule is posted you may check the Columbia University Master Exam Schedule. (Click on "Projected Exam Schedule.")
Please note that there is a new classroom schedule grid as of fall 2012 and thus a new exam schedule grid. We do not anticipate changes to it, but will notify students and faculty if there are any changes.
Please note that procedures listed on the master schedule DO NOT apply to Barnard students. Once the official schedule is posted, if you have exam conflict (two exams at the same time) or exam hardship (defined as three exams within a 24-hour period or four exams within a 48-hour period), please go to the Barnard College Registrar's Office.
Please also note that you should not make travel reservations until you are certain of your exam schedule. Having an earlier flight is not considered a valid reason for missing a final exam.
