Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. At Google, we are committed to helping students explore career opportunities that align with their passions. With this in mind, we’re excited to announce the launch of AdCamp.
Up to 30 current college sophomores will be selected to participate in the all-expense-paid AdCamp at Google’s New York City office from June 24 - 27, 2012. AdCamp will include a collaborative curriculum focused on Google’s advertising sales operations, as well as an overview of products (including AdWords, YouTube, and Enterprise) and insight into the advertising industry. AdCamp participants will also get the opportunity to meet with Googlers and interns, compete in an advertising case competition, and participate in social activities in NYC.
To apply, students must:
Be currently enrolled in a 4-year BA/BS program, in any major, at a university in the United States.
Be able to provide proof of work authorization extending beyond 12 months in the United States.
Be a current undergraduate sophomore.
Demonstrate academic excellence and an explicit interest in a sales discipline.
