Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. Media Networking Night is an exclusive opportunity for you to get the inside scoop on the industry from employers and alumni. Meet with over 100 professionals working in film, publishing, graphic design and more! Use this unique opportunity to ask the hard questions – like how they got where they are and what the day-to-day life is like – without all the pressure of a formal career fair. Light refreshments will be served.
Employers and alumni attending this event will be listed in a publication available on our website 2 weeks prior to the event. They will be organized in the room by primary industry so that you can meet professionals in your areas of interest.

Eligibility: This event is open to all Undergraduate and Graduate students Columbia University with the exception of the Graduate School of Journalism.
