Mentor-It-Forward with HSBC Professionals

Monday, October 24, 2011
4-5pm
James Room, Barnard Hall

Do you want a chance to meet professional women and talk to them about their jobs and career paths?  We have a great opportunity for you!

A special Mentor-It-Forward event will be held with HSBC professionals and Barnard students on Monday, October 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the James Room, Barnard Hall.  Just to remind you, Mentor-It-Forward brings executive-level professional women together with young women for "speed mentoring" -- in an hour, you can meet four or five or maybe even six different professionals.

The HSBC executives will be at Barnard for an all-day Athena Leadership Lab event on October 24th, including a keynote by President Spar, morning and afternoon Athena Leadership Lab workshops, plus this Mentor-It-Forward event. They will be from diverse HSBC departments--marketing, human resources, and public relations, as well as finance.  After a full day on campus, they will be eager to spend an hour meeting and talking with you:

You can hear about their work, their career paths, and get some individualized career advice
You can ask questions and get "quick-hit" information from women who are already succeeding in their industry
A FAQ sheet with more information will be sent to those students who sign up, along with other details about how to prepare.

Don't miss this opportunity to network and get expert advice. Space is strictly limited, so sign up today!
