to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence. Consequently, our recruiting efforts reflect our desire to attract and retain the best and brightest from all talent pools. We aspire to be the first choice for prospective employees.
In an effort to fulfill our aspiration to attract exceptional students, this program provides outstanding undergraduate women with: (i) a financial award for exceptional academic achievement; (ii) a summer internship in Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equity Division the summer prior to graduation, and (iii) a meaningful relationship with one of the premier firms in the industry.
A summer internship in our Institutional Equity Division is a great opportunity for students to experience the excitement of working in finance and in the markets. It is a 10-week program that offers unique insight into the Firm’s trading floor environment. Amongst other things, Summer Analysts learn about how we interpret our research to produce actionable trading ideas and how we pitch these ideas to clients to execute trades across a wide range of asset classes. Some of the components of the summer program include classroom- based product and technical training, individual and group assignments, senior management speakers series, mentor/buddy support and networking events.
We encourage students of all majors and disciplines to apply. Fellowship recipients will be selected on a competitive basis through an evaluation of a student’s demonstrated academic achievement, extracurricular activities, leadership qualities and the completion of final-round on-site interviews.
The deadline to apply will be April 18th with interviews taking place on May 2nd.
