The Barnard music department joins the Opera Company of Brooklyn in presenting Mozart’s lively tale of two soldiers bent on discovering whether their fiancées will prove faithful. Dorabella and Fiordiligi do their best to stay true to the doubtful Ferrando and Guglielmo, but when the wagering Don Alfonso and the plotting maid, Despina, enter the scene, the two couples quickly become involved in a game of cat-and-mouse. One of Mozart’s most beloved operas, Cosí Fan Tutte weaves an irresistible tale of passion, betrayal and, ultimately, forgiveness.
