Welcome to The Xth-Wave where Womanhood, Intersectionality and Activism are Redefined!!

The 2012 Women's History Month Committee are proud to present: The Xth-wave: Redefining Womanhood, Intersectionality and Activism as this year's focus for this celebratory month of March. Women’s History Month honors and remembers those women who were not only visionaries, but also ground-breakers and history makers. Help us pay tribute to the women who have paved the way, and celebrate the accomplishments of women from both the past and present. The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 1st 2012 at 6:30pm in the Diana Event Oval.  The keynote addresses will be given by distinguished Professors Rebecca Jordan-Young of Barnard College and Alice Kessler-Harris of Columbia University. We are excited to listen to their insights on the importance health for self definition and the waves of activism through the evolution of Women's History Month. All are invited to come and enjoy great food, amazing speakers and talented performers in celebration of the accomplishments of women.
