Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. The event organizer must coordinate delivery and pick-up schedules with Events Management so that space can be reserved and so that Facilities Services and Public Safety can be notified.
Catering and furniture deliveries and pick-ups must be made as follows:
- For North Campus (Milbank Hall, Altschul Hall, The Diana Center) deliveries and pick-ups must be made through 42 Claremont Avenue.
- For South Campus (Barnard Hall, the Quad) deliveries and pick-ups must be made through 26 Claremont.
Please note that delivery companies may not pull trucks onto campus. For deliveries that can only be made via the main gate at Broadway and 117th Street, drivers should park on Broadway and items should be hand carried onto campus. Please note that parking is limited on Broadway and parking spaces cannot be reserved.
