Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. During the academic year, Liz’s Place is open Sunday from 3:00 PM until 11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 AM, and Friday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. It is closed on Saturday. After business hours, Liz’s place is open as a casual gathering space.

Scheduling Note: The Green Roof is used both as a classroom and as an event space. Please be aware that there are no restrooms on the 6th floor of the Diana Center. Both the Green Roof and the 6th floor lobby must be scheduled through Events Management. A Public Safety Officer is required to staff events held on the Green Roof. Charges may apply.
