George Padilla
Senior Associate in Physical Education
George G. Padilla, Senior Associate in Physical Education, joined the Barnard faculty in 2000.
Mr. Padilla specializes in health and safety, and teaches such courses as “Self-Defense,” “CPR,” “First Aid,” “Personal Fitness,” and “Wellness.”
Mr. Padilla is a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He has also earned the CPR/AED certification for the Professional Rescuer from the American Red Cross.
His other certifications include Clinical Exercise Specialist (from the American Council on Exercise), Health Fitness Director (from the American College of Sports Medicine) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (from the National Strength and Conditioning Association)
