Luci Rosalia

Director of Aquatics
Luci Rosalia, Senior Associate in Physical Education and Director of Aquatics, joined the Barnard Faculty in 2000.
Ms. Rosalia teaches swimming, aqua exercise, and weight training. In addition she is an American Red Cross-certified trainer of instructors for Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator, and water safety. At Barnard, she teaches the “Lifeguard Training” and “Water Safety Instructor” courses, and is the developer of the “Water Safety Instructor” course at the College.
Ms. Rosalia is also certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a health fitness instructor, and is active in the area of track and field. She developed the first set of championship standards for the Centennial Conference Track and Field Championships and has served as a jumping events juror for the NCAA.
