Finding Materials

Approximately 100 collections from the Barnard Archives are cataloged in the Columbia University Libraries online catalog, CLIO. You can find a list of these records in CLIO by doing a keyword search for "barnard archives"--with the quotation marks.

Browse our Collections & Records

Using our Collections Overview and Collections List pages, you can browse a list of collections and records held in the Barnard Archives, along with their BC identifiers. The links in the list connect to CLIO, PDF files of finding aids and inventories, and the Barnard Archives Catablog. The headings that are not linked indicate unprocessed collections and records. Please contact the Archives to request access.

In the past, the Archives used Wordpress to "catablog". The catablog provides short descriptions about our archival collections.  The catablog allows reseachers to search by keyword, browse by subject category, or browse the collections alphabetically by the title of the collection. The catablog will be replaced by finding aids located here on the Archives site.
