For Current and Returning Study Abroad Students

Preparing to come back to New York from abroad or just returned from your semester? These pages provide information on any policies that apply to current and returning study abroad students. While the following pages describe all processes in more detail, current and returning students should keep these things top of mind:

  • Have an official transcript of the work you did while abroad forwarded to the Barnard Registrar. The Registrar will award credit when both the transcript and your course approvals on eBear are on file.
  • Complete program filing on eBear for the following semester (if you will be returning to Barnard). Dean Young will be in touch with all students abroad prior to the program filing deadline to remind them to file their programs, and to assist the with L-signup.
  • Complete the evaluation on Abroad 101.
