for all grant applications submitted by Barnard College
and/or its faculty members to foundation, corporate, and
government sources. The Office consists of Director Abigail Feder-Kane, Associate Director Rhonda
Zangwill, and Grants Manager Sharon
Cauthen and Research Coordinator Sarbani Hazra. The first two focus on obtaining, and subsequently
reporting on, institutional grants. The third and fourth are primarily
dedicated to facilitating faculty sponsored research by
identifying funding sources, reviewing and editing proposals,
securing institutional approvals and signatures, interpreting
guidelines, and promoting compliance with agency and College
policies.

If
you are planning a research project and will need outside
funding, you should begin your search as soon as possible.
