Coming up: "The Barnard Project" at Dance Theatre Workshop

From The New York Times:
"The Barnard Project (Thursday) Dance Theater Workshop’s partnership with Barnard College is a worthy endeavor with mixed results; there’s a big difference between student and professional performers, and it often shows in this program. That said, there have been gems (Susan Rethorst’s “Hover” comes to mind), and another might arrive from this year’s lineup: Kimberly Bartosik, Ori Flomin, Will Rawls and Gwen Welliver. (Through Dec. 4.) At 7:30 p.m., Dance Theater Workshop, 219 West 19th Street, Chelsea , (212) 924-0077, dancetheaterworkshop.org; $20. (La Rocco)"

From The New Yorker:
"Since 2004, Dance Theatre Workshop has joined forces with Barnard College to set up residencies for a range of choreographers from the downtown scene. The current residents—Will Rawls, Gwen Welliver, Kimberly Bartosik (a former Cunningham dancer), and Ori Flomin—each represent a different approach to movement, mixed media, and text. This week, they will show their work with the students at D.T.W. (219 W. 19th St. 212-924-0077. Dec. 2-3 at 7:30 and Dec. 4 at 2 and 7:30.)"
