On Friday, September 16, Barnard College observed Constitution Day. Commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution by the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787, the day offers the opportunity to connect with the ideas behind our nation’s founding. Members of the Barnard community shared their reflections on the meaning and significance of the U.S. Constitution on Lehman Lawn today and enjoyed some celebratory (and patriotic) cupcakes.
