Dance alumnae featured in the New York Times

Sarah Chien ’10 and other alums of Barnard Dance Department appeared in The New York Times in light of their upcoming performance with Jody Sperling/Time Lapse Dance.  An excerpt from the listing:

"“Turbulence,” a new work for six women to music by Quentin Chiappetta, attempts to transform patterns of air disturbance into choreographic shapes. It’s inspired, in part, by the experiments with billowing costumes associated with Loie Fuller (1862-1928), one of the pioneers of American modern dance."

More information about the performance available here.
