A profile of U.S. District Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum's '50 accomplished career

The Wall Street Journal profiles U.S. District Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum '50 as she presides over sentencing the attempted Times Square bomber.  From the article:

"Judge Cedarbaum is the rare example of someone who is not only brilliant, but also wise," said Amrit Singh, senior legal officer for National Security & Counterterrorism at the Open Society Justice Initiative and a former clerk. "She has a deep appreciation of the complexity of human circumstances."

"There are few people I know, as a judge, who listen more carefully, study the facts more intimately than Miriam Cedarbaum," said U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who counts the judge as one of her mentors.
