Due to the storm, Barnard College will close at 4pm today, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. In accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), as of October 29, 2011, each postsecondary institution that participates in Title IV federal student aid programs must post a net price calculator on its website.
Barnard launched its Net Price Calculator on its website in August 2011 in collaboration with the College Board. The calculator is a tool intended for prospective full-time, first-year students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents to estimate a family contribution and to determine if eligible for a need-based financial aid award. Please visit our Net Price Calculator to give you an early indication of financial aid for which you may qualify. Your “net price” is the difference between your estimated financial aid and the cost of attendance. The estimate does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance.
