Welcome, Class of 2015!

Barnard College welcomed 612 incoming first-years this week. The Class of 2015 hails from 39 states plus the District of Columbia and 21 countries. Twenty-four of its members have mothers who attended Barnard, ten have grandmothers or great-grandmothers, and 29 have a Barnard sister.

First-years and transfer students will be participating in the New Student Orientation Program all week long. To find out more, visit the NSOP website.

Meet a few members of the Class of 2015

While probably all of Barnard's incoming students have gotten to know their future roommates through Facebook, most met their roommates in person for the first time when they arrived on campus. Some pairs grew up within a few miles of each other, some grew up across the globe. See what some of our new students brought with them for first year at Barnard.
