SECURITY
GUARD
Department: Public Safety
Shift: 12am-8am Friday-Tuesday RDO: Wednesday
& Thursday
Rate: $21.18 regular rate $16.95/hour probationary rate

DUTIES: Under the direction of officials
charged with the responsibility for security and safety of the
persons and plant of the college, police the College buildings,
grounds and sidewalks to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, illegal
entry and harm to the persons of the College.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to
speak, write and read English and follow written or oral
instructions.
- Must be
physically capable of detaining or apprehending unauthorized
persons.
- Experience
as fireman, policeman or guard is desirable. Must possess
NYS driver’s license.
- Exception
to this requirement can only be made with written approval
of Director or Associate Director of Public Safety.
