people to care for the coast through programs focused on advocating,
learning and conserving. We seek a bright, energetic, and flexible
individual to perform a variety of tasks throughout the summer at our
headquarters location. Primary responsibilities will include: Leading
hands-on outdoor education programs (seining, hikes) at a variety of
locations; assisting in researching, writing, and designing public
education materials on coastal/marine topics for various audiences;
representing ALS at events and meetings. The position is full time and
hours are flexible with some evening and weekends required. This is an
excellent opportunity to work with a well-established organization that
promotes coastal conservation through education and advocacy.

identify basic flora and fauna and you must have the use of a car.
ALS offers a paid
dormitory room, a stipend based upon experience and education and seeks
someone who can begin work in mid to late May. ALS will work with you
and your educational institution to meet their requirements to receive
college credits for your work with us. Please e-mail a cover letter
describing your primary areas of interest and your resume to
jim@littoralsociety.org.
