Eligibility:
  • completion of the penultimate year of an undergraduate science degree (BSc) - students must be in the final year of their first university degree in 2007/08

  • proficiency in English (written and spoken)

  • willingness to work hard, and ability to work independently

  • strong interest in the project of choice

  • career goals in organismal biology

Compensation:

Full funding for the 10-week program will be provided for successful candidates, including financial assistance with air transportation to and from Dublin, living expenses during the program, as well as laboratory and project expenses. Prior experience with museum collections is not required – one of the goals of the program is to expose students to new research skills.
