| Responses from former interns: |
I was able
to gain a more realistic picture of the daily life of a research
scientist. The increased level of responsibility that I gained this
summer confirmed my desire to continue doing research. --- Carolyn Olson
(Psychology)
I learned
how to work out experiments that had results that were not quite
expected, and understood how important it is to think of a solution to
these unexpected problems in many different ways --- Zeah
Venitelli (Biology)
I have
learned much about the scientific process and have gained a great
insight into how projects are designed. --- Aimee Peck (Chemistry)
My mentor was marvelous.
While
she was demanding and had high expectations, she also offered tons of
guidance, help, and advice. --- Sasha Ban (Biology) |
