Compensation:

The current stipend for the 9-week program is $4000. Housing and meals costs are paid directly by the students in the program. Fred Hutchinson negotiates and facilitates a housing option for out-of-town students at Stevens Court residence hall, an apartment-style residence hall at the University of Washington. This facility is about 10 minutes from the center by bus. The approximate cost at Stevens Court is $1300 for 9 weeks, and students in the intern program are housed together in individual four-person apartments on a same-sex basis. Passes for regional Metro transport (buses) are provided to students for the summer at an approximate cost of $30.
