| Eligibility: |
U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are currently enrolled as
undergraduates at U.S. colleges or universities (no graduating seniors)
Applicants must be highly motivated, eager to learn new approaches and
able to work both independently and collaboratively. The position is
ideal for a student with strong interests in symbiosis, bacterial
evolution and ecology, nutritional physiology of insects, functional
genomics or related field. Prior exposure to molecular lab techniques in
a course or research setting is essential and specific experience with
PCR and microscopy is desirable. |
